Coinciding with the celebrations of the State of Kuwait on its national holidays, the villages of Al–Khairin 8 – the village of Abu Halifa in the isolation of Al–Mashalha – Al-Mokha District – Taiz were inaugurated on Sunday morning, amid an atmosphere of joy and hope, with generous funding from the State of Kuwait through Al–Najat Charitable Association. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of official and social figures, led by: Director General of Mokha Directorate Sheikh Sultan Abdullah Mahmoud. And the Director General of the Directorate of Flies, Mr. Abdul Qawi Al–Wajeeh And members of local councils in Mokha district and a number of sheikhs, notables, and dignitaries. The Director General of the Directorate sent a letter of thanks to the State of Kuwait for the generous support it provides to their brothers in Yemen, especially in these exceptional circumstances. The President of the Spirit of Giving Foundation for Development and Education, Mr. Abdul Raouf Mohammed Al–Yousifi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the State of Kuwait, the Amir, the government, and the people, congratulating them on national holidays, and appreciating their efforts in supporting humanitarian projects that meet the needs of their brothers in Yemen. The project includes several vital facilities aimed at improving the standard of living of beneficiary families, including: ▪️30 housing units are fully equipped with furniture and equipped with a solar energy system to provide a sustainable energy source, and distribute the livelihoods of families according to their needs.
▪️ School consists of 4 classrooms and management with furnishing and toilets.
▪️ Build a mosque with edifice and furnishing, toilets, and lights.
An integrated health unit equipped with the necessary medical supplies.
▪️ 4-hall sewing workshop with equipment and furnishing.
▪️A palm plantation with 230 palm trees in addition to 1400 fruit trees.
▪️An integrated water project that includes drilling a well and installing an irrigation network.
The people expressed their thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its continuous support, stressing that this project will contribute to improving their lives significantly, and provide them with a stable and safe housing environment.
